SafeOpt is proud to announce our sponsorship of Compass to Care's fundraiser, An Evening of Hope. An Evening of Hope will help children get to life-saving medical appointments and ease the burden of families dealing with childhood cancer. SafeOpt could not be more honored to have the opportunity to be one of the event sponsors contributing to this cause. Giving through charitable donations is one way of exemplifying one of our core values, "Be a great human." This motto is not only at the center of how we do business but also how we treat other humans, especially those in need.

This dinner is the organization's 11th annual event in support of families affected by childhood cancer. It will be held Friday, November 4th, at Maggiano's Little Italy in Chicago, IL. Guests can expect delicious food, great music, and a silent auction full of amazing prizes. All money raised will go directly to funding travel for families battling childhood cancer so they can attend essential medical appointments they may not be able to get to otherwise.

A little more about Compass to Care

According to the American Hospital Association, transportation challenges prevent approximately 3.6 million Americans from receiving medical care yearly. Compass to Care believes that families dealing with childhood cancer shouldn't need to worry about how they will get to their appointments and the associated costs. Their mission is to "provide non-emergency medical transportation to access life-saving cancer treatment and clinical trials for children fighting cancer and facing poverty or cancer-related financial toxicity." Compass to Care currently supports 200 children each month in their cancer journey and is making a huge difference in those families' lives.
